    Yes as long it is a a mechanical type, not an electronic type, mechanical tend to be rotary.
    Because I use a proportional diverter it is not a constant amount of watts going to the heater element.

    It's a mechanical dial thermostat yes, a classic oil radiator 1500w with switches to reduce it to half power etc. I'll give it a go and see I it works. Failing that I'll use the extra input for something I'm sure.

    Any thing that can take a variable load and is resistive should work fine.
    Bought my oil filled radiator  from morrisons in the summer of 2014 been fine no problems.

    Has anyone linked the eddi up to a 2nd device yet? I plan on having mine linked to the immersion heater and a radiator to heat my airing cupboard.
    Seems quite a few on the myenergi forums doing just that
