Sudden high elec usage then back to normal

Hi, I've just been working out our average weekly gas and electricity usage.
From may- Nov 2021 we averaged 10kwh per day. But nov- Jan jumped to 22kwh per day. Then Jan- March back to 12kwh per day.
Nothing has changed- my husband hasn't charged his car any differently, appliance usage the same.
Just rather puzzled and wondered whether anyone had any ideas???
Thanks 😊
4 bed detached house, occupied all day.

    Welcome to the forum.
Presumably you are referring only to electricity?
Are the readings actual or estimated?

Are you calculating from actual meter readings - taken by yourself -  or suppliers estimates ?

Christmas lights? Oven on more for festive cooking? Other items on towards end of year?

More hot drinks/food in winter?  Electric shower having colder water coming in to be heated?  Does temperature affect car batteries?  Heating on in car use more energy?

That's a good point, I've heard that some electric cars heat the cabin from mains to save on battery when in motion.

How do you achieve space heating in the house?

Anything that produces a lot if heat for a long time. A kettle won't use much (for example) as it's only on for a few minutes, if that.
