How to get a new in home display for smart meter?
Hi everyone, does anyone know of anyway I could get a new in home display for our smart meter? We're with EON and ours was broken by some builders we had in but when I contacted Eon to ask if I could buy a replacement they said as our smart meter is a first generation they no longer have any replacement in home displays but they won't replace our smart meter for a second generation one with an in home display as the meters still work. Obviously with the huge increase in prices I'd really like to be able to track our spending but Eon basically have said there's nothing they can do. Has anyone else been in this situation and managed to find a replacement anywhere??

I don't have a smart meter but can you not just get a generic IHD? I have 2, an iboost buddy and a basic one off ebay.
They all either work off a clamp on the power cable or the red flashing light don't they?0 -
