Parking ticket from Ealing council - parked on footpath
guts
Hi there,
I received this ticket on a Saturday morning for parking on a footpath. However, this is ridiculous as this pavement would never be used as a footpath in the first place.
I also parked my car on the kerb to prevent any sort of congestion as there are cars parked on the other side of the road and if I didn't park on the kerb, it would make it difficult for other drivers as it will be a very tight squeeze for them to go through. On top of this, emergency services such as ambulances cannot pass through at all as well as they're too big to pass through. There are no signs whatsoever to say you can't park with 2 wheels on the footpath. Is it possible to appeal this parking ticket from the council?
Please let me know if this is possible to appeal, any help will be much appreciated.

Since we specialise in private parking charges here on MSE, you would be better taking this over to our friends on pepipoo.com as they are the council and police motoring specialists.
You will need to sign up with a non-hotmail email address then read the FAQs before posting both sides of your redacted PCN with your query.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

2.3.2 Footway parking
Parking on footways and footpaths is not permitted in
London unless signs state otherwise. Vehicles parked on
footways and footpaths or an area of the road that forms
part of a footway or footpath can cause a problem for
pedestrians, especially wheelchair users, parents withpushchairs or people with mobility difficulties.Whether you think it is ridiculous or not it will be classed as a footpath, the tree is the most ridiculous thing about it pepipoo is the place to find loopholes, but don't get too hopeful.
