    Posts above beat me to it ... just because they offer a higher speed package doesn't mean your line will support it (assuming you're on an FTTC package). That's the position I'm in ... my FTTC line will only support ~35meg so it doesn't matter what headline speed any package offers, I'll never be able to achieve it.

    Och I get FTTH and can get silly speeds of 500+
