Minimum pay in for HSBC and/or First Direct?

I have had these accounts for some time, opened when their Regular Savers were worth having. I am now tidying up my monthly transactions and can't find whether they require a minimum pay in each month. Can anyone help please?

No, there is no minimum pay in requirement for First Direct or HSBC Advance or normal bank account.

HSBC have notified me that they would close my Advance account if I didn't make at least one transaction in it for xx months. Can't remember how much xx was, but as I want to keep the account, I deposited and withdrew a fiver. So I'll be ok until they approach me again.

I haven't used my FD current account in ages as I only use their Regular Saver. My current FD RS is about to mature and I am not likely to open another one, after having held 11 consecutive RSs with them. Their rates are just to mediocre now. I would like to keep my FD current account so I can use it for a switch offer if one becomes available to me. If they want to see some transactions on the FD account, I'll be happy to oblige as long as it doesn't involve having to switch my income to them.

I would be happy to oblige with a fiver, but I shall be glad to cut down on the amounts I need to recycle every month.
