Yet another dashcam query, sorry

My husband got caught up in Operation Brock last night, before he even got on the M20 so he got off M26 and went through all the back roads. Hasn't done it for years and was calling me saying ' your Pa's office has been demolished ' 'you wouldn't recognise XYZ now'. As I'm shielding (since Feb 2020) we wondered whether there's a dashcam which I can watch later/live when he's out and about on weekends. He would get to go places and I could watch live/later.
The car is a 2021 leased Volvo and although it's got aircon, heated front seats and steering wheel, an awesome 12 speaker sound system and satnav, there isn't a dashcam. He can't wire anything in (though qualified electrician) as leased. He's using one of the 12v ports for his cool box so wire might have to come from the boot ?
Feasible or should we give up now ?
TIA x

You just need an adaptor like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ring-RMS2-Sockets-Adaptor-Analyser/dp/B000PTDERW/ref=asc_df_B000PTDERW/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310764720204&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5675911010555643220&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9041106&hvtargid=pla-468834877191&th=11

I use 2 of these, they are quite big and only bend to 45 degrees.
I power 2 dash cams, a fridge / freezer, 2 phones, a sat nav and a large power bank.

You need a dashcam that uploads to the cloud if you want to watch it at home, There seem to be some but they are aimed at businesses and are probably not very cheap.
On the Volvo my dashcam cable is pushed into the rubber windscreen surround, comes down the pillar and into the door rubber, it then goes under the mat and is connected to the back of the 12v socket in the centre. The cable is hardly noticeable.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.1 -
Blackvue upload to the cloud, their cameras aren’t cheap and i think there’s a subscription
im sure there are others though1 -
Go out for a drive with your husband a see the places referred to for real.MrsStepford said:My husband got caught up in Operation Brock last night, before he even got on the M20 so he got off M26 and went through all the back roads. You don't need be in contact with other people to see those places so you can still "shield", you can't catch Covid from driving around with your husband that presumably you live with anyway.

Not quite the same but I've used Google maps before to look round places. If you select the street view you can follow a route. Some areas might be more up to date than others though.1

Having just re read your post, most cams that have WiFi, have an app that you can download to your smartphone and watch later1

Thank you for all the replies. I have put links in an email to husband along with other advice.
He has a 12v cooler in the car so we could take food and soft drinks out for a drive, as we have in the past. Kent is a big county and therefore there's the problem of finding an empty, clean, lavatorial convenience and I'd still be crossing my fingers and hoping that I hadn't picked Covid up, as it can hang around in the air in aerolised form, for hours.
The problem is that the the mRNA vaccines are incompatible with one of the drugs I'm on. Vaccines manufactured in the traditional way would be fine, but so far I haven't gotten access to one.
I do use Google Maps and StreetView already but a tad cumbersome.
Thank you again for the help.0
