Goes without saying that we're all taking a keen interest in our 'leccy usage now the bills are going up... I already have a 'clip-on CT current sensor' and am looking for an inexpensive way to monitor my electricity usage. The sensor I have sends to a basic display I received from a previous supplier, over 5 years ago and I'm aware that the tech will have come on leaps and bounds since then. Ideally I'd like a web-based system that shows nice graphs of all my 'leccy usage over time, so I can see the effect of turning this off, turning that on, etc. etc. Any suggestions?

Do you have a smart meter? If not, get one... you get all that kinda thing for free. There's an app called Bright for your phone which will give you any graph you could possibly want from the data.0

These two offer ways to access the data via your computer - The Owl is a MS Windows only app.... Both use clip on sensors and do not monitor the line voltage, so power consumption will be an estimate. If you want to roll your own, I can recommend Home Assistant hooked up to a PZEM-016 - A Raspberry Pi can be hooked up and generate the graphs. But I've found memory cards don't last long if you are logging large amounts of data. An example of my power consumption over the last couple of days (with line voltage superimposed) -The short spikes are down to the kettle....Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
