Vouchers for those needing support
The charity I’m involved in is setting up a Crisis Fund to provide to support to the people we help (we help people at risk of homelessness into secure housing). It would be better if we could help other than with cash. What voucher schemes are there (other than supermarkets? For example, fuel, energy, bus/train tickets. (We already help with white goods and furniture using local charity shops.)
Thank you.
Thank you.

Our local bus company (First) sells bus tickets which we can give out. The client 'rubs off' the date on which they're using them.
Be aware that vouchers will still have a trade value on the street. We were involved with a charity which used to run a cafe, and sold meal vouchers to supporters which could be given to those begging on the street. We found the vouchers were being traded, and no-one was ever refused food, so they were stopped and the cafe just started taking donations.Signature removed for peace of mind1
