My ongoing issue between utility point and EDF continues 6 months after moving house inbetween the switchover.
ive escalated to ombudsman but been told that recievers dont have any time scale to complete work so today i rang EDF again
1. on utility point webpage it says recievers are EDF and quote phone numbers
2. when speaking to EDF they dont know who recievers are or how to contact them
3. i asked what the procedures were to escalate issue ? Unknown
4. i have final bill from utility point dated 21 Dec, but 3 months later they still havent sent copy account or credit to EDF
5 Ofcom gave assurances that all credits would be honoured
6. im piggy in the middle and cant see me ever getting my £165 quid back

anyone else experienced the same and any idea how this can be resolved

I imagine that the advisors you speak to on the phone know nothing about the SoLR system so I would follow EDF's formal complaint procedure and send them a letter with a copy of the final bill.  If you've already done that then do it again.
  • I have the opposite problem. I owe UP over £200 after cancelling my DD (with UP's approval) when I was in credit with them. The balance has not been transferred to EDF who seem to have washed their hands of it. Maybe I should pay you £165! - only joking!
