From E.On today - so i assume inc/after the rises?

Gas - 27.22p/day Standing Charge + 7.37p per Kwh

Electric - 48.00p/day Standing Charge + 27.88p per Kwh

prices include VAT

E.On Standard variable Next Flex

That was quoted TODAY at noon, so after removal of the cap?

The cap has not been removed.  The EDF rates apply from today.

What happened today was that the capped prices changed from an old cap to a new but sadly higher cap.

had a statement dated 30/03/2022

Gas 3.797p/Kwh

on the 2nd an email arrived stating

Gas 7.37p/Kwh

is that where we are at now?

Son prepays, he put £100 on last week, so hes on the old rate..

Not necessarily some that prepay and have loaded up before the 1st will still get the higher rates on 1st. Depends on supplier.

Yes, that is where we are at now. See the links in my signature for the capped variable rates applicable to dual-fuel customers paying by DD from October 2021 and April 2022; those two rates are typical.
