How to find out new DD amount - Scottish Power
I'm trying to find out what out monthly DD will be going forward (post 1st April price rise). Obviously I can't log in on the web at present due to Scottish Power's website being down, but I have managed to log in on the app. I went to direct debit manager and it has a 'recommended direct debit amount' of £263. Will that be the new one taking the price rise into account, or is that still to come? If it's still to come, where can I find what it is going to be?

Use your last 6 months usage, April to October, the total used then divide by 6 energy companies do overestimate as one supplier I was with did in 2018 they wanted over £1200 when my annual usage was just over £400. You can then recalculate again for the October to April increaseSomeone please tell me what money is1

If your recent DD was keeping you on track then take that DD & multiply by 1.54. Although I bet they will try to double it to improve their cash flow.

Do we have any idea when they will show us the new amount? I would have though they would have told us by now, as I keep seeing people who already know what their bill will be.badmemory said:If your recent DD was keeping you on track then take that DD & multiply by 1.54. The 54% increase is just the increase for a specially defined average energy user. The real increase might be lower or much higher depending on consumption and if somebody is coming of a fixed deal.badmemory said:If your recent DD was keeping you on track then take that DD & multiply by 1.54. @sarahdh What was your old DD amount, and were you in credit or debt?0
