Smart Meter

On the 31st March 2022 at 9am the cost for this month was £110.00 but when I looked today the total cost for last month was £145.00 even though the amount used for yesterday was £3.05.  Can anyone explain why this is?

The Smart has probably been updated for the new tariffs as from today.

The IHD (I think you are talking about) is really very crude - it's not used for billing.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

I've not looked into it but my smart meter only stores a single set of tariff data (unit prices and standing charges) so I bet that as Robin9 says it's a case of the updated tariff data now being used to calculate the indicated cost of the last month. Your bill will use the correct charges for each time period.
