Would erasing my data (you mean just my address?) benefit me and if so how?

The reason for erasing your (old) data/address is so that they do not (try) to send court claims to you at an old address which you do not receive/deal with and they claim a judgment in default.

By ensuring they don't send a court claim to your old address, which in turn means you wouldn't receive it, which in turn means you wouldn't have any opportunity to defend yourself, which in turn means that a Default Judgment is issued against you, which in turn means that you will find it difficult to obtain credit for the next six years.

Of course you are free to ignore all of that if you like, but for the sake of one email...

    I will certainly inform them.
I can't believe what this has come to after my car being parked somewhere it had the right to be and others are still doing.
