I'm with octopus energy for gas and electric on a prepay meter
i've had en email saying i can top up at current rates until april 21st ( the date their prices will rise)
so if i top up now as much as possible then i will stay on that rate beyond 21st? or will it still change?

That looks like a typo, the original announcement was here:Can you post the part of your email that mentions the ability to top-up at current rates?

It does not say 21st of April, it says April (20)21, which is clearly a typo.
If you you correct this typo, you would get "you can top up at your current rates until April 2022", which would be end of March.

Call them and see what they say...All the other information on this refers to the prices going up on 'April 2' which gave people an extra day instead of going up on April 1.0

The other link says, "honour our current Flexible prices until April 2nd - ...." and also "From April 2, our prices will ....".
