NCP fine for parking in disabled bays when only dropping off

I'd love some advice on this as I've just received 2 fines from December and will expect a couple more.
Basically, my local train station (Chelmsford) doesn't have a drop off, so everyone uses an area of car park that is marked as disabled parking. Each time I'm recorded as being there less than 10 minutes and the evidence provided is just me entering and exiting the parking area, not that I was actually in a parking space. I certainly haven't noticed a sign on entry to this area to say that it is only for use by disabled parking, just that the parking bays are for disabled use only. So they seem to be assuming I parked there when I hadn't. Each fine is £100 which is a joke.

They are not fines.
You should determine if the area is a railway asset where byelaws apply, and whether the keeper can or cannot be held liable for the charges.
Have you read the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES yet?
Nobody here will condone abuse of disabled parking areas, so you need to determine whether just the bays, or the area used as a drop off point itself are for disabled motorists only.
You should get pics of the site and signage.

Drivers need to learn to avoid private car parks like the plague; instead, pick up or drop off passengers on-street.
Plenty of railway car parks are not for dropping off but this is what yellow lines on street allow (boarding/alighting is OK on double yellows). Never look for a car park to park a car, unless shopping at a supermarket, etc., where you have no choice.
Having said the above as advice for the future (to help you avoid these scam PCNs ) you don't need any more help with the PCNs because the NEWBIES thread tells you how to appeal as keeper, not driver. A cinch to win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
