Is there somewhere I can check the SVR with all providers and the method of payment available. Shell tell me i have to £4 extra to pay monthly for what I have used by CC. Are all rates exactly the same?

No not all rates are the same. For a long time payments via DD have been cheaper. Rates are different across various regions too @QrizB has a link in his signature, just look at any of his posts.SparkyLarky said:Is there somewhere I can check the SVR with all providers and the method of payment available. Most companies are not taking on new customers just now and most companies are charging around the price cap rates for the standard variable tarrif. There will be little difference in the prices per company but there will be a slight difference in the unit rates and standing charges depending on whether you pay by direct debit (fixed or variable) or pay on reciept of bill by cash/cheque/ transfer etc.

Are you sure ? I understood that no-one was allowed to pay extra by Credit Card any moreSparkyLarky said:I.......... Shell tell me i have to £4 extra to pay monthly for what I have used by CC. Are all rates exactly the same?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Presumably credit cards are charged at the Cash / Cheque rate. That would be OK: the discount would apply only for DDs.Robin9 said:
