Its the same situation for maturing Bond type accounts
The only 1 year maturity option being given is for 1.49% issue H39 while the website is showing 1 year issue 74 at 1.65%.

Oh well, as it matures in two days time I've put in for the 1 year maturity account and if I'm given it at the lower interest rate I'll just write a formal complain in.
Previously I've had a formal complaint about a secure message from them upheld so I'll not be wasting time on secure messages.

You'll be given the 1.49% but you can use your 14 days cooling off period. I was in that position back in February and they changed the issue for me on the phone. But there were no long waits back then...

Blame Chase for an outflow of funds and an increased workload.

Although I just had a maturing account with Aldermore, who as far as I know are similar to Shawbrook, and all went through without a hitch .

Credit where it's due here, I sent secure messages to change the ISA accounts to the new Issue 20 to get the better rates, and they have backdated it to the date Issue 20 was issued, even before I sent the messages.

    Can't fault that.

Who knows unless you are on the inside. Wait for the next bank to raise the bar........ be the same all over again.

Can`t fault Shawbrook they backdated and updated my account to the new issue despite the secure message taking 5 days to answer.

Like many, I no longer require an ISA so am moving my Shawbrook dosh to my nominated current account
in order to transfer further to a new saving account.
Transfers out take a day via online account,  which is in their terms - ie before 2.30pm for next working day .
OK no big issue but felt slow compared to many faster payments almost within the hour , though
as I say , it is in their Ts & Cs for savings accounts.
Does mean you have to be aware of the time of day and approaching weekend , moving it
in smaller sections , losing a few days extra interest in the better account it's going into.
