Moving home / energy tariff

I am moving house 27/05 and I am wondering what will happen in terms of the energy tariff when I move?
1 - will I stay on the same tariff as the current owner?
1 - will I stay on the same tariff as the current owner?
Or
2 - when I call the company to confirm name/account change, will they roll me onto a different/new tariff
context
I explored changing tariff for my current property and was advised it’s best to stay with current provider due to rates & tariff protection. But conscious of what will happen when I move.

You will roll straight onto that suppliers standard variable tariff and to be honest that is probably where you want to be.
Won't hurt contacting them to confirm but don't let them sell you a high fixed rate deal.0 -
Read the closing and opening readings yourself, don't let anyone else do it for you. Otherwise you could end up paying for usage by others or for a void period.1

But when I looked to switch in my current property it said It was best to stay and not switch because of a tariff protection or price promise.Conscious when I move and the account changes the tariff may also change?0
