Meter Reading submitted - should I now pay?
I’m on a standard tariff, get a bill every quarter and pay manually.
I’ve taken a meter reading this morning, 31st March and submitted to the SSE website, it’s showing me how much has been used in pounds. Should I pay this amount today or do I wait until the next bill which I assume would have a new meter reading or estimate?

No need to pay now. You would only get additional credit onto your account as you have not received a bill.
By submitting your meter reading you have ensured that the next bill will be correctly split into what has been used at old and what at new tariff.2 -
Thanks, that’s what I needed confirmed, whether they would split it in the next bill. Nice one.0
