Money not received in my Bank account

Hello,
I have this strange situation, where i have submitted a months work to my client who holds their account at Barclays. I hold my account at Natwest subsidiary company called Mettle. Mettle's payment service provider is Prepay Solutions based in Swindon ( i came to know about this recently)
Now the my client sent me a remittance advice which says payment has been made. Barclays says payment has gone through. Payment is of type Faster payment supposed to go into receivers bank account next day. But my account in mettle not showing updated transaction. Contacting mettle support team resulted in saying "we dont see any payment made to your account and your account is active".
What should i do resolve this error?. I have the payment reference number, account sort code and number from my client. Mettle has raised a query to Prepay solutions. But no response for more than week.
Seeing prepay solutions reviews scares me. People say they are just scam. Please can someone advice?

Are you sure it's a faster payment and not a BACS?1

Yes, its Faster payment. 100% sure. Bacs also takes 3 to 5 working days, i got the remittance advice on 23rd, so its well overdue.0

Are you sure they actually sent the payment?
Your supplier would need to put a trace on it.1 -

Hi, check the date on the proof that payment should have been received. Where I work we send payments throughout the week normally to hit our customer's accounts on a Friday, quite often the date needs changing when the payment is sent, so they may have pressed a different date in error.1
