DFS Refuse to refund

Options
I bought a bed from DFS Sept 2020. It became defective 5 months after. They initially inspected and put it down to wear and tear, after 5 months. They soon changed that and agreed to replace,  Having heard nothing for 3 months i got in touch and to cut a long story short the bed was collected on 24th  Jan 2022 and a refund promised.
I put down £140 paypal deposit and the rest on finance. The finance company has refunded me but DFS are constantly ignoring my e-mail or post.
It is impossible to get through by phone.
The last conversation i had they stated they had refunded in to my paypal account on 31 Jan, then they stated a cheque had been sent out on 7 March.
I am at the end of my tether. Citizens advice gave me details of a letter template i should send stating breach of contract but they have ignored that as well.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated
Mark

Have you eliminated the obvious potential mistakes, such as making sure they have your current address?

If you've already sent a letter before action, you should proceed with court action.
