Planned to submit my meter readings today as advised through a Email sent via company and media..
BUT why have Shell Energy.. closed this service today can’t log on through email or via app…
Does this mean when able to submit reading they will be charged at tomorrows price rise ???

Only the estimated fraction of use for tomorrow will be charged at the higher rate, which may be higher or lower than what you actually use. You won't be charged a higher rate for all the energy since your last reading. If you can't get on today, submit tomorrow's reading tomorrow and don't stress about this.
Most energy company websites are going to struggle today due to high demand.0
