Insurance and FIV Cat

Hello, I have a cat that has FIV and is 11 years old showing no signs of any symptoms and has regular check ups. I have previously tried to get insurance in case something major happens in the future. None of the companies I have tried over the years would give a quote. Are there any companies that would quote on cats with FIV?

No company will cover any pre exisitng illness when you take out a policy. or anything that can be related to one.
You may get cover which excludes FIV or anything that can be related to FIV. But having FIV can lead to many other infections due to the compromised immune system so it would be difficult to establish whether something was related or not.1
