Reading in the paper today there is a huge shortage of properties for sale and rent in many parts of the country.
Do you think it will make a good family home.
Yes get the best price but the Investor will want it ready for students by September.
Do you know who the Investor is ?
Article 4 in your area ?

A4 is proposed in the area.
I don't know the investor, but the EA did mention them during the initial valuation. So they are a regular client.
It would make a nice family home. However all prospective viewings are investors. So I think selling to an investor is likely now.

I am selling my late mother's property. The neighbor has students on one side, and if I sell to an investor, she'll have students/young professionals on the other side. I understand some council's have restrictions against this.

The council can't stop the sale, but what they might prevent is an application to turn it into an HMO.  However, that's a problem for the new owner, not you.

Yeah there is currently a proposal in the County for this. I understand Bristol already have it implemented.

All the booked viewings are investors, it's a very hot area for property sales but the other 4 investors cannot view until the end of next week, and the EA seems to know the investor that has offered? Hmmm...

Have you got a friend to phone up to enquire about the property and see if it's still available and if they could book a viewing?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Apart from the possibility of a cosy agent/ buyer relationship, isn't there a potential issue for the executors?  They should not be selling at under-value and should be seen to be maximising the value of the estate.  The only way of determining the value of this house is to leave it open to offers.

Fortunately I am the only execeutor and beneficiary, so I don't think this is a concern.

No, I hadn't considered doing this.

I would definitely let the other viewings go ahead and then make a decision.

I would also do as @pinkshoes suggested. Can't do any harm.
