Meter Read Tomorrow - Over Estimation
Hello,
In Jan-Feb I had to run a heater full time in my garage. As a result my meter read and bill end of Feb was really high.
In Jan-Feb I had to run a heater full time in my garage. As a result my meter read and bill end of Feb was really high.
I’ve just been billed with an estimated read. Due to the high usage, the estimate is a good bit over the actual meter reading.
Do I submit the correct reading now per the advice or wait until after the cap goes up.

Sounds like it would be in your benefit to wait a few months until you give another reading...

When you give your next reading, chances are your account will be reversed back to the last correct read so you may gain a few units but if you were still running the heater after the last read, you may lose a few. Take a photo of the meter just in case0
