If you could change one thing about MSE's comping forum what would it be?

Well, apart from a forum that works. I think that's a given!

For me it would have to be the addition of a sub-forum for social media only comps. I can't be the only MSEr who gets fed up of trawling through what seems like endless Instagram, Facebook and Twitter comps to get to the ones that are of interest, can I?

So when you make a post it would be so useful if something appeared after you entered the URL for the comp that could warn that the URL COULD be a dupe... you could then review what it thinks its duped with and then override if its not a dupe.

Reaching for the stars with that suggestion I know!

Both of the above, especially  I would like a way to filter out social media and MDs. But mostly( and I hate saying it )  I don’t find the forum as fun or as friendly as it once was before the changes. Might be just be but .....

There are a lot of things I can think of that I could physically change, but it isn't the forum I would like to change.
I used to wake up and get excited to log on, there was so much interaction, lots of competitions shared, friendships that were built etc. It has just run flat and I can log on occasionally and not many things have been posted either in the chat or new competitions. 
I feel guilty if I spend time on other competition sites, so I'm entering much less now, less enthusiasm for it.
Luckily I have other things to keep me occupied - work and illness right now.

The social aspect.
There are lots of other competition sites, but this one gave us more of a platform to do our Yearly challenge and connect with people more.

I don't feel this site is much different to when it was the 'old' green forum.

Just one!  Restore the old forum functionality
as a bonus selection ideally return to the look of the old one as well

Several things I can think of.

It would be great if when clicking on a link, it opened in a new tab or window rather than over the screen you are already in.
The search function is 'tricky' at best!  
When checking competitions by closing date, the same posts keep reappearing, sometimes several times.
A hover function would be great, so you can read the first few lines of a post without needing to open it.
Another improvement would be a feature where you could hide comps you're not interested in.

Blulu was always great at starting conversations in Compers Corner, but it looks like she has deserted ship.

Being able to hover over a thread title to see what's in the thread.

Have a section for low value prizes so it doesn't clutter up the main board.. I know its a competition forum but sometimes you'll see pages of really low value prizes like a £5 book or bottle of wine

A search function that works and being able to find EOM easier and without the glitches that Just shows the same page over and over again. I haven't done EOM for a long time since I can never find them anymore.
