"We can't legally get and publish data from a comparison site without its permission. We would love to include all comparison sites in our search but they have to agree to it.MoneySupermarket is part of the same parent group as MoneySavingExpert so it was the easy start point. We have asked the other comparison sites to join - some have given us an outright "no" and some are mulling it. We do have one insurer we're working with, so - in the near future - if you click through to it, some of its question set will be partially filled in.
To fully integrate those sites in the results will mean deploying very substantial tech and data resources as they all use different question sets, compliance rules, and ways of publishing, and these all change on a regular basis. It will need a lot of brain power, development work and ongoing management. So a condition of us doing this is that they must help foot the bill for the huge work it takes, both to build this and to keep it running, with some of the money they will make from the traffic they are sent.

So it’s not a multi comparison site compare tool yet then0

Doesn't seem like it's working properly.
I don't get 2, 5 or 6 from the newsletter either.
.
2. We add MSE extras as you answer, eg, JOB PICKER. The MSE Job Picker tool is a key example - it shows which slight, legit changes to your job description might save you money.
5. Timing it right can halve your price - we'll tell you if you're too early, too late or you're Goldilocks. If you're too early, we'll tell you when to come back. If you're too late, you can opt for a reminder so you get it right next year.
6. Personalised tips on how YOU can cut your costs, with one-click tests. From our analysis of your data, we will show you other things you should try (all are trial and error though) to cut costs further.

Agreed - I get the same results, i.e. steps 2,5 and 6 do not work. Essentially this is a single comparison site tool I can do myself with no added benefits. A shame as it looks promising.

Seems to have gone off a bit 'half-cocked'0

Same as the other posters here - it doesn't seem to be working and only sends me to Money Supermarket....0

I bought a policy using this new comparison tool (through Moneysupermarket.com) and was attracted by the offer of £150 of vouchers to spend on my car. Even though the price of the policy was slightly higher than another quote I'd had, I thought it was worth it. Since I needed a new set of tyres I thought I'd be able to get £150 off those. Not so - you have to split the vouchers between a variety of products, like MOT, service, brake pads, etc., so the maximum I could get off the price of 4 tyres was £30. Buying online at Halfords, I took advantage of an offer of 15% off 4 tyres, which meant they cost me £43.91 less, i.e. a better deal than using the vouchers. From what I can see, it seems like a carrot to lure people in, that then doesn't live up to expectations. Just wanted to warn people about it.0
