WiFi adapter for PC desktop

Hi
I’ve installed a DAW music PC in a single garage studio conversion (helping someone out) but there’s no wired Ethernet.
The WiFi router though is in the house and roughly the length of the garage away with a cavity wall plus the studio stud wall in between.
The refurbished Lenovo M93 ThinkCentre PC did arrive with a couple of small USB adapters but signal and connection is flakey.
Using a cable connection works fine but would mean drilling through the wall and installing it.
A good WIFI adapter could save doing this but need something better than the cheap ones I’ve tried so far.
The WIFi from the Origin Broadband router is good and signal was fine from an i3 Acer laptop used previously.
Just wondering if there’s a USB or PCI mounted WiFi adapter available that would work as good as the laptop’s one.
It’s not for heavy use but needs to be reliable.
Any help appreciated.

Best most reliable solution: Drill hole and run ethernet cable.
Possible solution 1: Use Powerline adapters between router and studio... depends on the mains socket circuits and Consumer Unit MCB/RCD layout... Often works sometimes doesn't.
Possible solution 2: Use a Mesh WiFi adapter solution to provide better coverage in the studio.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, wired connection cheapest and most reliable.
I took the PC and placed it next to the router so I could download the DAW software. No problem there so it’s the distance and/or walls.
Maybe a WiFi extender or repeater might be enough or a USB extension cable to move the dongle nearer.
Edit: Will go with the wired connection I think as that will work.
Buying extenders or whatever to strengthen the signal might be a bit trial & error.0
