Do you really need Sky broadband Boost? If you are at the end of a contract and performance has been bad enough for Boost to be useful i would be going elsewhere. Otherwise save yourself £60 a year.

I've just had a look at that and doesn't seem worth it at all and i'm surprised people pay for that.

£120 plus for TV and Broadband, what a rip off. It's a rip off at the current prices your paying.

@mils Can you get FTTP broadband in your area? That makes a big difference.

If so, then FTTP from an Openreach provider (varying between around £20 to 55 a month for between 100 to 900Mbps Full Fibre internet).

Otherwise, 4G Mobile Broadband Unlimited SIM in a Mifi device is usually around £15 to £30 a month. Speeds usually around 35-45Mbps. Rather than paying for Copper based (FTTC) internet. If you must have FTTC internet, then Vodafone Broadband, or Now Broadband for around £20 a month which includes a Landline with Pay as you Talk. Cuckoo do 30 day or 12 month contracts for £29.99. Now Broadband is 12 months. Vodafone is 24 month contract.

TV - do you need to record? If not, then:

Freeview/Freesat for all Free TV channels.
If you need Recording, then one off cost for Digital TV recorder (approx. £80-120)

Sky TV channels can be accessed via Now TV via the Internet. You use the Now Smart App on your Smart TV, or a Firestick or Apple TV box.

There are usually "deals" to subscribe to Now TV packages. However, the "full price" options are below. These are all on 30 day rolling contracts unlike Sky.

Now Entertainment & Cinema (includes Sky Kids) in Full HD - £24.98 a month (£9.98 for first 3 months)

Now Sports (Sky Sports in HD) £33.99 a month

These are all "Multiscreen" on up to 6 screens (TVs or Tablets, Smart phones or computers etc)

So roughly speaking, without deals at the maximum possible full price with the most expensive providers you'd be looking at:

FTTC Broadband on 30 day rolling contract - £30
    Freeview - Free
All Sky channels via NOW with each Channel Bundle on separate 30 day rolling contracts - £59

Which is a sum total of £89 a month on a 30 day rolling contract.

    or

    4G Broadband on 30 day rolling contract - £35
    Freeview -  Free
All Sky channels via NOW (as above) - £59

Total of £94 a month on 30 day rolling contract

FTTP 900Mbps Broadband on 30 day rolling contract - £55
    Freeview - Free
All Sky channels via NOW (as above) - £59

Total of £114 a month on 30 day rolling contract

Obviously you would choose the Broadband package depending on personal preference which takes the price even lower, as well as take advantage of NOW offers which takes the subscription for Sky channels even lower as well.

But that crude example shows you can get a 30 day rolling contract with FTTC broadband for LESS than what Sky are quoting for your Renewal price on an 18 months contract!
