Compensation for Delayed Luggage

Hi, I flew from Manchester on the 26th March 2022 with Crystal (TUI flight) for a ski trip to France. Checkin was chaotic, and the flight delayed for 2 hours due to "baggage handling issues". On arrival at 1pm my case was missing, and whilst eventually being delivered 9pm the following day, during that wait there was no information about the location of the case or its likely arrival, the worry of not knowing if the case was likely to follow pretty much ruined the first 1 and a half days of the holiday. The problem is that I am disabled and the case contained bespoke equipment that is very difficult to replace (in addition to conventional ski wear etc). My partner and I were unable to ski for the first day. Crystal has offered 150 Euros in the way of compensation. The ski holiday cost £2,200 (approx. 2,500 Euros) and we missed one of the six days sking due to the delayed luggage. Could anyone provide advice on what compensation if any we are entitled to? Thank you.

rigolith: Would that be with the package company Crystal or the airline TUI? Thank you.

Does your travel insurance provide any cover for delayed luggage?  I am not sure that the airline or travel company are obliged to pay anything as the luggage was returned to you, albeit late, beyond a nominal good will payment that they have offered.
