EBay collection

I sold a small side table and it was collected this morning. I’ve marked as paid but eBay is saying scan and saying it still needs to be collected despite me listing it as collection only.

advice please,,thank you.

It says scan to confirm collection, scan what though if it’s been collected?

I’ve also clicked on despatched, maybe that was wrong?

The buyer gets a QR code that you are supposed to scan via the app. I think that there may be a six digit code that can be entered manually if you can't scan the QR code.

It’s me again.

I’ve had another collection but despite me messaging the buyer for the code (I forgot to ask when they collected) I’ve heard nothing. What do you do in this case?

If they paid cash then there’s nothing to worry about, just mark it paid and despatched.

If they paid cash then there’s nothing to worry about, just mark it paid and despatched. 

Although you'd have to mark as despatched on a computer rather than a phone as I don't think the mobile app allows you to do it.

(If it does, please let me know how)

Another reason the Ebay app is not fit for purpose.
