Printing off Royal Mail Labels

Is it possible to print off sticky labels on a laser printer ?
With the increase in postage coming shortly, I thought I should actually try the eBay Royal Mail label option, which is actually cheaper than the standard RM price.
Looking on YouTube a few folk use small printers and then buy long rolls of labels and can print off one label at a time. This is probably fine if you are sending several parcels a day, but I already have a conventional sized laser printer.
As a small scale eBayer could I buy those 6x4 labels, 4 per A4 sheet and simply use them ?
Or maybe just print out the label on normal paper then stick it to the parcel with clear tape.

Yes you can print off sticky labels, you just have to find the setting on your printer display. For my printer, same as you, I need to use an A4 sheets of labels.
BUT for eBay, as you say, you can just print labels onto an ordinary A4 sheet of paper and stick them on with sellotape.
It works perfectly well for me and has done for some time. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. I used to use A4 paper and just turn the paper around and reinsert it so I printed 2 labels per page and wasted less paper. However I now have a Zebra thermal printer for which RM supplies rolls of sticky labels for free.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I use the Royal Mail send service which gives you an A4 page with other stuff on, by a stroke of luck my Zebra printer only prints the top quarter which fits the postage label on the 6x4 perfectly.
If eBay only give you the label then you can as Soolin suggests turn the paper around but that would only use 2 out of the 4 labels (as you can't turn it upside down to configure to the other 2 labels), also running sheets through a laser printer twice can cause problems with the paper not being pulled through straight.
Zebra printer is the answer for speed IMHO, if you use thermal labels don't put sellotape over the top of them as the "ink" can disappear (obviously if you print with a laser printer you can tape over this).

Yes, if it's just one or two labels per week a laser printer would do the job. Inkjet printers can just about scrape by for one or two but the inks can run if they get wet, laser printers tend not to.Thermal label printers tend to work out cheaper if you're printing continuously (no ink required). There are some relatively good deals on those if you shop around and labels aren't spectacularly expensive either.
