Am I being quoted above the market cap?

Hi
I hope someone can help clarify things for me, as my energy supplier is avoiding my question.
I understand the energy price cap varies by region, however I'm struggling to find what my actual cap is! I'm based just outside of Glasgow, Scotland.
I found an average market cap on MSE website, and my supplier has quoted me in excess of this.
I understand I'm probably best to not agree a new tariff at the moment (current contract expires in May), but also want to ensure the prices I'm being offered are correct.
The best deal my current supplier is offering me (outside of a variable rate) is:
Electricity SC: 49.65p/day
Electricity Unit: 40.41p/kWh
Gas SC: 27.22p/day
Gas Unit: 10.37p/kWh
I'm also a relatively low user as well (around 600kwh of electricity and 2000 kwh of gas) if that matters at all?
I really appreciate any advice you can offer.

Thanks for providing that link. So it seems my unit rate for both gas & electricity are above the cap, how is that possible?1

The cap only applies to the standard default tariff, that you will drop onto if you don't accept a new tariff, not to any other tariff that the supplier may offer.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

I would be surprised if it is above the cap.Fixed rates are not capped, suppliers can set them as high as they like.N. Hampshire, he/him. Thanks everyone.I didn’t realise the fixed rate worked that way.The variable rate does match the cap:
Electricity SC: 49.65p/day
Electricity Unit: 27.84p/kWh
Gas SC: 27.22p/day
Gas Unit: 7.34p/kWh1
