Subscription for Under Armour MVP plan

As above company is American I'm not sure if I have any legal way of getting my subscription back as the training plan does not do what I expected. There was no free trial so I purchased a $29 plan and now find after a week of trying and contacting their help desk I find that the app does not do what I need.
Now, they do say in the long T&Cs that there is no refund, but reading up on distance selling regs I would hope that I have a right to a refund (full). They can simply disable the app at their end so I have no benefit from it (and never had any actually).
Is there any other way like asking the CC company for a reversal?
TIA

As you have used the APP, then there is no way to get the money back via your CC.
But why purchase a year, when there is a monthly option @ $5.99?Life in the slow lane1 -

The idea of intervals is to do for example a 30-second hard effort then a 15-second recovery, repeat 8 times then have a 5 min rest. That is one set. You then do that set 3 times. The app does not have the flexibility to do this it only works with distance. Their idea of a set is simply the last effort, say 15 seconds not the group of 8 hard/slow + rest. There is no way of knowing without access to the app and trying it out.
Well, I've asked them for a refund anyway and will see their response as it does not meet my needs and what I've described is an existing published training plan.

We have a Concept 2 rowing machine and a Garmin Forerunner HR monitor/GPS and exactly the sort of intervals you describe can be programmed into both of them. I won't say it's straightforward (neither manual for example gives any guidance how to do it whatsoever) but it can be done if you dig around a bit.
The Garmin is actually my wife's and she worked out how to do it from clips on Youtube. For the Concept rower you need to go into Customised Workouts and for the Garmin Training > Workouts > Custom. But you wouldn't be able to tell from either manual how to do it. The sort of session you describe would require a lot of repetitive input. The Garmin is quite old and clunky, but I'd be surprised if it can do something a modern app can't do.
BTW - that interval session sounds very familiar. It's not this one, is it? Improve Your VO2 Max With These Intervals | Workout of the Month - YouTube (Although I presume you are only giving an example)0 -

No, I cannot get any further than entering some intervals and no way of spacing them out by time, not distance. Also good to know someone else knows what this is about.0 -
