Moving money out of Virgin Money

For those maybe requiring to move largish funds out of Virgin Money Saver into their hub current account for RS standing orders due on Friday (1st April)....

Just a wee warning. As you know you have to move the funds firstly from the Saver account into your M Plus current account. No problem there, any amount up to the balance in your Saver account can be moved.

Getting funds out of your M Plus current account to another current account via online banking seems to be subject to a lowish daily limit of £1000. You can get round this by down loading the VM mobile app, which allows you to move (I think) up to £30K in one day. I've just had to download the app and was able to move £12,250 to my Santander current account.

Glad I didn't leave this until later in the week, when I might have panicked when I couldn't move sufficient funds via online banking,
