So you have the services registered in the Benchmark at the back of the installion manual?

You have the Benchmark, then there are boxes where the service engineer inputs their service including the importand anylser test results.

They are know to reject warranties without this.

At the very least when the boiler is serviced the engineer writes out a gas safety record with two carbon copies, one must be left in the premises, the owner or letting agent gets one and the engineer keeps one. This can be digital but all paties should get a copy.

As long as there is a proper record for every year then the warranty should be honoured.

Thanks, I've had a look at the T&Cs but there was nothing particularly unique about the requirements and the services were completed by gas safe registered engineers. Will see what the manufacturer says in response. They were very quick to say the warranty was not valid which makes me v suspicious, particularly as no further details given.

    Has anyone experienced similar?
Be very persistant as the business model will be  to fob you off.

My mate is a Gas safe Engineer and used to work doing boiler insured repairs
He was instructed to try and find reasons not to honour the contract
( eg  No magna filter   sorry needs £400 powerflush and so on.)
