If it's just mandatory training then you have nothing to worry about

Nothing to worry about other than actually making any sense of some training packages that is.  When I joined there was a lot of computer based training, although done in a classroom environment.  I lost count of the number of times either the tutor said "Just note that you need to answer 'xyz' to that question although that's not the right answer, and trainees including myself constantly asking for clarification of questions or statements which simply didn't make sense.  When the tutor was asked why errors hadn't been corrected they said it was cheaper for the tutor just to tell people what it should say!

I have to do online training for a week, if I pass I will start job.
All security checks, references and DBS are done.

Do you get paid for the week's training if you don't pass it, given that you say you will only start the job if you pass?
    Yes, I do get paid

I’m amazed that you got offered a CS position without having to navigate the hideous civilservicejobs “service” and the various hurdles that need to be jumped to get to an offer stage. How did you apply then, just through an external agency? Lucky! I’ve worked though a few of the tests set by the posts I was applying for, painful.

Well, technically I haven’t got the  job, I have to pass the training first.

Just literally pass training? Is that definitely what they’ve told you, or do you have CS jobs assessments to take? I suspect it’s going to end up being things like the ‘Logical Reasoning’ and maybe ‘situational judgement’ there are maths ones and others too , Google for YouTube videos and you’ll see examples. Practice with whatever examples look like they fit the level you’ll be working at. When you have access to the civil service job service portal you’ll get links for relevant videos and practice tests. More practice will give a better likelihood of passing.
They are not working for the civil service.  The government has paid an agency x amount of money to get some work done in a specified time and they will be working for the agency.  They have no security of tenure even with the agency, and the government can request any individual be removed from doing any work on their contract at any time with no notice.  It's fairly clear why in such a case different standards are applied than when the Civil Service take on permanent employees.

Permanent, but I wouldn't expect the quality of training to differ much!

What, between a permanent civil service employee and a temporary agency worker brought in to do some simple tasks for a few weeks?  I'd hope it differs markedly.
