Afternoon all, and a Happy (Mothering) Sunday. Fairly quiet day today, nothing planned really. I got big hugs off both DGC at Sat morning football and DS2 and DGS called later yesterday with a gift. DH and I had a long walk in the afternoon, and had a very interesting chat to a woman from one of the farms en route. Its certainly a bit cooler today, still blue skies atm though. Pork tenderloin for tea later, cheesecake for the men after.Sorry to hear of Steve's accident Snoozer.Maddie, sympathise re DDog, it's the worst part of being a pet ownerDH is popping some bacon in so I'll wish you all the best day xx

Good afternoon everyone
Little one woke at 5.30 this morning and came in with me - she went back to sleep for a couple of hours so that was good.
We've been down to mam and dads this morning - my mam keeps little one amused so I can do dad's jobs on his laptop. I took mam a lovely bunch of purple tulips.
Had a short chat with DD in Germany this morning - she sent me a card with a picture of a lateral flow test and the word 'You tested positive for being the best mum - witty child!!
Also a £10 Homebase voucher to spend on plants for my garden, so that's nice.
TA - your visit today sounds as if it will be really interesting...I'd enjoy that!
Well little one is almost finished her lunch so I'll get her sorted and away for her nap - DD will be home by the time she wakes up. I'm going to sit outside with my paper while she's sleeping.
Take care everyone x10 -
Been to Church. We were given pot plants - Polyanthus. Some plants left over so I took a tray of them to the nearby residential home.
Not such good weather here today - some mist and drizzle plus cooler.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
