British Gas Non Smart Pre-Pay Meter Hack?

Does anybody know if the game is off in regards to the stockpile the old credit meter and pay todays rates even after April 1st situation?
I heard Martin had not got confirmation 100% if it would work or not and some are saying it won't work with gas only electricity.

Martin is saying it won't work with gas. He says it might work for electricity if you're not with Scottish Power. See the update here:
