Morning all...Sunny and cold so far...My ribs are on their knees with the coughing, everything hurts, but it could be worse eh...I bought new pants in the end, I justthought life is too short not to have enough if you can, and I did some retail therapy and got myself a blender too, one of the ones with the blade in the lid. OH said, do you need it? And I failed/passed the MSE test by saying, no, but I want it and I'll use it. And so will you Mr OH because you'll end up using it for smoothies...I know he will. Now I have to find a little bit of room for it. Being ill is dangerous, more time to browse the internet....Gers, glad you enjoyed it, it does sound cool. Good luck with the wonky hip. Ruby, enjoy your weekend away! And I love an egg sandwich too. Scarlet, enjoy your family and lol@big garage...camelot, good call, thos confiers in pots can take over if you're not careful and they grow through the bottom. I ened up with one twenty foot tall by accident thanks to that. Izzy, hope you are btter for tomoorow too! Coxy, it's rubbish isn't it? The cancelling plans stuff. hope you have it mildly...Jackie, how disappointing for them too...snoozer, hope Steve perks ups soon. dp1, that's not great news, but good that she thinks it might get better, do you feel that might be the case? Nanny, hooray! your builder turned up! Take care of yourselves all, special attention to Nels , NRA and rubys family...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi12

Morning everyone
Thanks for all your well wishes. Blood tests this morning - my veins are usually quite uncooperative and it has been known to take several nurses, so fingers crossed! All the females in my family are the same, with youngest DD being the worst.
Its her birthday today - she's 23 - they've just called in before little one goes to nursery so we could give her her presents. Little one wondered why I hadn't bought her a present too! DD is spending the day getting her extensions re-done - not my idea of fun but it is to her. We're going to have a takeaway later, so that will be nice.
Gers - glad you enjoyed your show and enjoy tonight too.
Redruby - enjoy your weekend away and try not to feel guilty, you need some time to yourself too.
Coxy and Izzy hope you feel better soon.
Taff I'm hoping so, if I take it easy, which I will
Jackie - that's so disappointing for them
Lovely sunny morning here again
Hope everyone has a good day . Take care x10 -
Morning all, well my sleep was disturbed by my coughing again but I managed to drift back off then later I woke up with a dreadful headache, so I've taken some painkillers and I'm hoping what ever it is will pass like it did yesterday. I didn't get round to the shredding yesterday but everything else on my to do list was finished. I rang Dad last night for our usual 2 day catch up and sadly the conversation was rather one sided once more, mine, so yet again I tried to get him to have some sort of help but he won't hear of it. I really don't know what to do for him now, I've tried to get him to have his cleaner back, a resounding no and I even thought maybe some sort of counselling or a befriending service might help.😟
Today I have another long list to get through including wiping down my downstairs interior doors, so 3x15 glass panes x 2 sides to clean as they are so dusty, I didn't notice just how dusty they were till the sun shone on them 😮
Hope all the poorly ones and their family members are feeling a little better today or at least comfortable. Bon Voyage if you're going away, enjoy yourselves. Sorry my mind is completely in the shed today.
Take care and hugs to all.

Went to SA today to sort out stuff ready for the sale tomorrow. My friend who helps me to run the sales came down with Covid yesterday plus the officers need to leave before the end of the sale. So I will be jack of all trades - running around.
Quieter day at the food bank.
Collected unsold bits and money from my hairdresser so I can take to the sale.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
