What is going on... I had smart meter fitted November 2021 since then my bills have more than tripled... siemens were supposed to change gas meter as its been recalled hmmm I wonder why but never turned up to do it TWICE.. Scottish Power are adamant I've used it and that's what I owe... the app says completely different from my my Smart meter and I've apparently used /exceeded what I used for a whole year 2021 in less than 3 months...

Give us some actual usage figures instead of pretty graphs.
How many gas meter units have you been billed and how many kWh were charged on that bill ?
1482 kWh combined gas & electric over 24 days = 62 per day which is not unreasonable.

When comparing Before and After usage you always need to think in kWh not ££, especially when there have been significant price rises.

Just take a meter reading (at the meter) for gas & electric at a certain time of day and then do it the following day at the same time. Its a rough calculation but will give you a rough idea. Simples.

Generally when we hear of gas use that has 'tripled' our first thought will be that they are still billing you as though the meter is Imperial (ft3) when it is actually Metric (m3).
The net result of that is to increase the bill x2.83.
Quick and easy to check with some of the information already requested, in particular, just give us the opening and closing meter readings on the last bill and the kWh they calculated from that...
