Electoral roll quandary when in between homes

Options
We are in the process of selling our home and buying another property but there will be a period of approx 6 months between selling the current home and completing on the second.  In the interim, we plan to live in a static caravan on private land.  My question is with regards to our listing on the electoral roll for this interim period and the potential impact it would have when we come to applying for the mortgage on the property later in the year.

Would it be seen as a big problem if we weren't on the electoral roll for 6 months?

Would we be better registering at a relatives house in order to stay on the electoral roll?

Speak with the council where the caravan is, plenty of people don't have permanent houses / flats but are registered to vote eg those on a houseboat etc.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
