PPI Tax reclaim

I put a claim in for PPI for my mother. A joint account with my deceased father returned a payout of £16,000 = £8000 each - tax of £1740 each was deducted. I’m reclaiming mothers  tax can I claim my fathers as he is deceased?

    Was the interest payment made after he died?

    Are you expecting a refund of £1740 in respect of your mother?
    tax of £1740 each was deducted. I’m reclaiming mothers tax
