I’ve not got a very account but I did make an account on Experian yesterday to check my credit score as I’m in the process of a mortgage. Think that is linked to the Experian account ?

Experian sell your data to lots of other companies for marketing. You can opt out here https://www.experian.co.uk/privacy/consumer-information-portal/opt-out-options/0

I wouldn't think Experian would have sold your data that quickly - it takes them long enough to update their own records for just about anything. Could it be a scam text?2
