Just received a text from very saying 

Tap for an EXCLUSIVE Very Pay Plus, you can check your eligibility without harming your credit score. Opt out text STOP. 

I’ve not got a very account but I did make an account on Experian yesterday to check my credit score as I’m in the process of a mortgage. Think that is linked to the Experian account ?

Are you sure it's a text from very rather than a scammer who's going to ask you loads of personal details under the guise of offering you pay plus?

Experian sell your data to lots of other companies for marketing. You can opt out here  https://www.experian.co.uk/privacy/consumer-information-portal/opt-out-options/

I wouldn't think Experian would have sold your data that quickly - it takes them long enough to update their own records for just about anything. Could it be a scam text?
