  • @stokegal we’ve just had an update. The vendor is happy to go with the valuation, so relieved. The reduced price is the original asking price. Let me know how you get on 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Ah that’s brilliant! How soon after the valuation did you get a response from them?

Im hoping our valuation goes fine as the price is discounted due to me buying it from my dad.

Other properties on the road have gone for c. 150k and my dad is selling it to me for 135k, however just noticed that a house identical to mine but without a conservatory on the next street has gone on the market this morning for 175k 🤦‍♀️ So I’m hoping this isn’t a problem

I’m using a mortgage broker. The valuation was on Friday so I left it until Monday to contact them and they had access to it already. I was told it goes back to the lender on the same day. Sounds like you’re in a far better position in terms of prices. Good luck 🤞🏻

I was asked for more docs today, proof of deposit statements, but I could only send my annual ISA statement. They also asked for 2 years work history as I have only been in my role for a year. I am hoping that's it! It goes all quiet, haven't heard anything else since 12 and its 4pm.
