Get your NI statement and it will tell you what you would need to pay for any years that are short.

Note that it is not always worthwhile to pay for Voluntary Contributions to make up 'gaps' in your contribution record, your NI statment will tell you if that is the case.
They will of course gladly take any money that you do send them, but it may not change your pension or benefits entitlements in the slightest.
