We've had something similar on a property that sold down our street a few months back. It sold for over £500K but theres an entry in July at £140K  Still waiting for the proper price to appear - the current owner completed in the autumn.

There's another a few doors along which sold for an unrealistic price a few years ago. I suspect that may have been one inheritor buying out another.

  • Does sound like Freehold / Leasehold issues or someone splitting up.
I'm looking at a 2nd property right now which is pence, because the lease is really short and will cost around £50k to remedy.

That, and MobileSaver's example, together with lack of info of renovations etc, precisely illustrate why Zoopla 'valuations' are mostly as useful as a chocolate teapot.
