    Odds they they do not actually make the jacket. Outsourced to a 3rd party So will not have any repair facility. As has been said if you like the jacket, while it should last longer. It should be a simple cheap repair for a local seamstress.

    Actually I don't think that is too bad at all - I thought you might be talking £100s in difference - and I wouldn't have said that £31 was unreasonable for a years worth of wear.

    Although I don't myself possess a single jacket that is fewer than 20+ years old, I suspect many people these days would consider 4 - 5 years of life out of a jacket costing £100 to be perfectly reasonable.

    I don't understand why you don't - as several others have suggested - simply get it repaired locally.  Is there something about the style of the jacket or its material that would make a repair too difficult or too risky or too expensive?
