Hello.. E-on Energy have been sending me bills for an address I have never lived in, in fact the Supply Address is in Kent and Iive in Wales although they have my name on the account. The account number doesn't look right either it actually looks more like a telephone number.
I have contacted E-on on numerous times to be assured this has been rectified and have even sent the bill back explaining. Today I received a letter saying they are referring the Dept to a Dept Collection Agency.. Back on the phone to E-on complaints and again they have said they have sorted the problem out but are unwilling to send anything either by mail or email to confirm they have actually done anything at all..
Has anyone else had any previous experience with this I don't want to just sit and wait for a letter from the Collection Agency and then risk my Credit Rating being impacted..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards Andy

Write to them. Make sure your letter has "COMPLAINT" written at the top in nice bold letters. Tell them to stop harrassing you about a bill that isn't yours, and ask for written confirmation of that. For good measure, post first class at a Post Office and ask for confirmation of postage. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1
